BaroView shows the device’s raw barometer sensor reading at your current location. Weather apps often show sea-level adjusted values from stations/models.
Relative altitude depends on your reference point and local pressure changes. Try resetting the reference at a known location and wait a few seconds for the reading to stabilize.
Make sure Location Services are enabled for BaroView in iOS Settings. If you prefer, you can keep location disabled — the app still works without it.
